The Boathouse Pub Restaurant Tewkesbury

I had my 50th birthday party at the Boathouse and we had the whole venue to ourselves. The staff were very accommodating and the service was great. We had buffet table of food which was a really good spread of food and they were good at keeping it topped up. We had approximately 60 and it could have easily accommodated a lot more. There was plenty of space for dancing the night away. I highly recommend the boathouse if you’re wanting to have a party. Great for all ages and dogs are allowed too. Thank you to all at the boathouse for making my day even more special

We stopped here as a pit stop on a long journey home. We were lucky they had an event on with some live music - I think it was a local festival as there was lots of things on at the pubs nearby, live music, food stalls, outdoor bars etc and it was such a great atmosphere. The place was packed, all the seats taken and everyone was enjoying the music and having a great time. We ate from the vendors for the event so cannot comment on the food from the venue but it was very well organised from them and would definitely return again if we were passing here again in the future.

The food was incredibly tasty! I had a lamb and the cherry wine gravy was very good. Unexpectedly, I tried the fish and chips and it's probably the best one I've had in my whole life. Cooked very good, not greasy or covered in butter and the fish is meaty. It was flavoured beautifully. The service was amazing and welcoming as well. Would recommend! They're also dog friendly.

We love this place! The food quality is exceptional 👌, the staff are super friendly & knowledgeable & very dog friendly. We sat outside last night & as soon as the waitress noticed the dogs she brought a bowl of water over for them. There are plenty of vegetarian choices on the menu & the food is very fresh. We can't wait to come back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent Riverside pub. All staff are very friendly..... Nice change these days! There was a live singer on a Sunday afternoon and that just added to the atmosphere. Very dog friendly, as soon as they seen you had a dog the waitress brought over a bowl of water. Food was excellent. Good all round place to be.

This was my first visit to the Boathouse, and I was so impressed! It was a beautiful day, and sunny, so we sat overlooking the river 🥰 Stunning views! The food was also outstanding 😁 We will definitely visit if we are in the area again 😀

Friendly staff serving beautifull unique meals. What a great place to drink, eat and relax. The mulled wine went down a treat. The burger was really moreish and the seafood dishes were perfectly cooked and delightfully light and filling. Superb restaurant!
